Safe neighborhoods, Christ-centered community, and structured living. Here's what life at HavenRoots looks like โ grounded in faith and designed for lasting sobriety.
Programs
Semi-private rooms in clean, well-maintained Atlanta homes. House rules, curfews, and weekly house meetings create the structure that early recovery requires. We are GARR certified.
Coordination with your existing treatment team, outpatient program, or IOP. We make sure your care doesn't fall through the cracks when you leave primary treatment.
Resume help, job readiness workshops, financial literacy basics, and connections to Atlanta employers open to hiring people in recovery. Work is part of recovery.
12-Step meetings, peer accountability partners, house dinners, and weekend activities. Recovery is harder alone. We make sure you're not.
Faith & Spiritual Growth
Optional group study each week exploring scripture through the lens of recovery โ sobriety, identity, purpose, and grace.
Daily reflections as a house. Scripture, prayer, and shared intention-setting to start each day grounded and purposeful.
We help residents find a local church home in Atlanta and participate in faith community beyond our walls.
Pastoral guidance available one-on-one for residents working through faith questions, forgiveness, and spiritual restoration.
Monthly in-house worship services โ a time for the entire community to gather, reflect, and encourage one another.
Volunteering and outreach partnerships with local ministries โ giving back as part of spiritual growth and building purpose.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." โ Psalm 147:3 ยท The foundation of everything we do here.
House Rules
Structure is the point. These aren't punishments โ they're the framework that makes recovery possible when willpower alone isn't enough. Everyone in the house operates by the same rules.
No alcohol, drugs, or misuse of prescription medication. Random drug testing weekly. One violation results in immediate removal.
11pm weeknights, midnight weekends. Overnight stays require 48-hour advance notice and house manager approval.
Weekly house meeting attendance required. Minimum 3 outside recovery meetings per week (AA, NA, SMART Recovery, or equivalent).
Residents must be working, in school, in outpatient treatment, or actively job seeking within 30 days of move-in.
Chores rotate weekly. Common areas are kept clean. Respect for housemates is non-negotiable.
